This is happening. And it’s happening now.
Coconut oil is kinda all the rage right now for those do-it-yourself-ers. But it seems to me that it’s kinda hard to get all the information in one place about everything that it can do for you. So that’s why I am here. And I will categorize it for you. Bitchessssss….
To help with damaged ends, massage some coconut oil in the ends of your hair a half an hour before going in the shower.
Massage some in your scalp in the shower to reduce dandruff.
Use as a conditioner in the shower.
Prevents protein loss from hair – leaving hair looking healthier and luscious.
Seals and retains moisture in the hair.
Helps your hair grow.
WHY? Coconut oil penetrates the shaft of the hair strand so that it can plump and make hair appear thicker – thus looking healthy. It will also keep the hair from splitting – which will let the hair grow “faster”. Coconut oil also keeps the hair from dehydrating which will prevent your hair from looking ratty. As for reducing dandruff, that is because it hydrates the scalp.
Hydrates the skin – doesn’t clog pores for oily skin types.
May also help with problems like eczema, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.
WHY? Coconut oil is a full of antibacterial benefits to help with acne – prevents bacteria from spreading and kills the bacteria that is there. Hydrates the skin as it is hydrating, but will not clog the pores at is a natural product that your body can understand and absorb easily. Anti-aging benefits and wrinkle reduction come from the excellent hydrating benefits as well as antioxidants found in coconut oil. Eczema, psoriasis and other conditions may be helped by being hydrated without all the chemicals and with a natural product that the body can absorb – also it is gentle.

I grabbed myself a container of it today and I’m going to see how I like it, however I’m challenging myself to use the whole thing even if I don’t like it at first.
